Running a dog kennel is a two person operation. Sometimes, you wish there was more help. At times, it really limits what you can do or where you can go. I really can't see life without our dogs and Dolly feels the same way. At times, one of us stays home to care for the dogs while the other travels. This just happened recently and Dolly missed out. I really felt bad for her. Basenjis are not an easy breed to find a pet sitter for.

Thinking of getting a puppy? They are cute and cuddly when they are little, not always so when they grow up. More important they might live 15 + years. Are you ready for that. Dogs are NOT "throw away" items. THINK before you decide!

I am tired of hearing about "Accidents" by some called dog owners. We were a breeding kennel for years and NEVER had an accident. Many of our dogs were spade and/or neutered as well. The health benefits are there, too. Look into it, it is one of the best things that you can do for your dog!
